Ah the wonders of cuts.

I just cut 9,000 words from my novel. Ah well. I'm back to where I started as far as that particular section's word count goes. I still have a ton of editing to do with that book. I'm already finding things where I have to rewrite the rewrite.

I'm glad I enjoy writing.

Ah, mannn, I got you beat. lol I had to cut 20K from Isle of Swords. Not because the material stunk. It was just that much over my hard word count.

Whatever you do, don't throw those 9,000 words away. Save 'em on a disk somewhere, because you never know...

Yes, I have several copies of those 9,000 words besides the txt file I cut and pasted them into. Including a printed copy I printed with self-publisher Lulu.com (Useful for single copies of a book.) I also back up my writing folder to a DVD+r every so often. Just in case.
